Whitby, Feb 4- Despite a cold rain and the possible
threat of a old fashion snow storm, our club welcome
167 brave patrons to our Saturday night Bingo at the
Hideaway Hall. Event Chairman Miles Richardson,
remarked the crowd were is a relaxed mood and
willing to spend. He credits his volunteer staff
of Optimist Rose Beckford-Wynter, president Jim
Shaw, and our volunteer groups from the St. Peter's
South Oshawa Food Bank Don & Rosemary Doucett,
long time friends of our club Flo Hall, Bob Reid,
Steve Carlisle (Oshawa Wado-Kai Karate Club)
and Renata Shaw all who played a major part in
creating a warm atmosphere with our customers.
Our next Bingo is set for Sat. Feb.18
