CONGRATULATIONS! The Christmas Parade was a hit again! While Sensei J-Carlos Garcia is doing kata’s on the beach in Cuba, we were up here freezing our obi’s off, walking through the streets of Oshawa at the Annual Oshawa Festival of Lights. It was very cold on Saturday November 22, 2008 (6:00 pm start time). The parade wound its way through the main streets of Oshawa. Attached are some pictures of our event. OUR SPECIFIC SPECIAL THANKS TO THE KUCZKOWSKI FAMILIY----DAN, SUE, KATHRYN, and MICHAEL---for creating the float, providing the great music and their van to tow the float. It just keeps getting better and better. Thank you for your generous yearly donation, representing Oshawa Wado-Kai in the parade, we all appreciate it.
