The Senate held the Inaugural Meeting of the Federation on November 1, 1997 in Toronto.
Sensei Shintani signed the new Constitution and named Sensei Denis Labbe as his successor.
Sensei Denis Labbe and Sensei Peter Ruch were also named Vice-Presidents of the Federation.
